Jodie Whittaker is not an actress I’d have considered. I saw her only yesterday grouped together on some Facebook post, speculating who the Thirteenth Doctor might be. Much like four years ago (FOUR YEARS????) when they announced Capaldi, and I saw him as a consideration before the confirmation, I thought “Ooh, yeah.” And then the confirmation, the “Ooh yeah” became and “Oh wow.” So yeah, I’m pretty pumped, just a tad miffed that the wait will be so long.
I am so going to miss Peter Capaldi. While I have liked every single Doctor, I think he was my favourite by a long mile, and I think that should be said and known before he gets swept away with the Jodie Whittaker news as Matt Smith was a bit when Capaldi himself was announced.
But back to the artwork, gosh I’m thirteen hours late. Ha, thirteen. This is the first version of this piece, the one I’ll be finishing later this week will be a full body illustration.
